“I originally began the nutrition and exercise program with Neil at Trench as I needed some extra push to get back into shape and feel more comfortable in my own skin. 24 weeks later I have accomplished that and so much more – both physically and mentally.
After meeting with Neil at the start of my program, I knew I was in for some tough days that would pay off in the end. The first few weeks were by no means easy, but once I began to see results I was excited to see what I could do with every passing day and week. Neil was able to manipulate my nutrition and training which allowed me to consistently lose weight, while gaining muscle. The nutrition was easier to follow than I had first anticipated and was set up in a very manageable way. The exercise program had me excited to get into the gym for every work out and constantly had me working to improve. I was held accountable through my program and with this saw the results I had hoped for. Neil provided a level of support that pushed me, but also supported me to get better.
What originally began as a goal to lose some pounds and feel better, has turned into so much more. I have developed a passion for the gym and a knowledge of nutrition that has me continuously wanting to learn more. More importantly, the past 24 weeks have allowed me to learn about myself. “Before I started my program with Trench, I was spinning my wheels. Continuing to eat a plant-based diet and running everyday, the same routine that had helped me lose a good amount of weight over the previous couple years, was not working for me anymore. Not only had my weight started to creep back, but I was also plagued with chronic injuries and was just generally feeling run down …. ALLLLL THE TIME! It was beyond frustrating knowing that I thought I was eating well and knew I was exercising regularly, but still wasn’t moving towards my goals. What’s more, my inner voice had reached a new level of awful. Saying that I was hard on myself is an understatement.
I reached a point where something had to give. I hated the way I was feeling and hated how hard I was being on myself. I chatted with a friend who had heard some good things about Trench, and we both decided to give it a go.
Here I am, 12 weeks later, an the only thing I regret is not starting this program sooner. Generally I am a lone wolf who likes to do things on her own, but I have to say that having a friend do this program with me was imperative! Having someone to bounce ideas off of and share all of the triumphs and challenges that one is bound to experience throughout the program was extremely helpful!

“The past number of years has been a very stressful time in my life. Both my personnel and work life has been overwhelming and I felt like I had totally lost myself. I was always extremely tired, was eating unhealthy foods and not exercising. I was in dire need of a change and this past spring, I got to a place in my life where something major had to change. “I began training with Trench Fitness in December 2011 with aspirations of becoming a competitive natural bodybuilder. Neil’s approach to training and dieting is second to none.
