Keeping our bodies in shape is hard work…and yes it absolutely does mean making sacrifices when it comes to the foods that we choose to eat! However, the key is to still enjoy the foods that you love by simply recreating them into a healthy version.

Baked Cinnamon Streusel Stuffed Peaches:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe, firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 scoop ON Vanilla Ice Cream Whey Protein, or vanilla whey of choice
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 8 walnut halves
  • 4 tsp. coconut oil

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Coat an 8-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the peaches cut side up in the baking dish and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the oats, whey, cinnamon, and salt together until well blended. Divide the oat mixture evenly into the center of each of the 4 peach halves. Put 2 walnut halves into the oat mixture of each peach half and then top each peach half with 1 tsp. of coconut oil.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the filling is crisp and lightly golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let sit for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
