 “I began the 12 Week Transformation Challenge with Trench Fitness on February 1, 2019. After some hesitation and eventually thinking, “what do I have to lose”, I made the decision to invest in my personal health and well being because I knew that I had to make some positive lifestyle changes for myself and for my family. Fast forward, almost three months later, I would have to say, that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and now I only wish that I had done this sooner.

Trench Fitness is not like any other gym that I have been to before. The facility is very impressive. It is clean and the equipment is well maintained.  The overall atmosphere of the gym is positive and I find it impressive that the owners of the facility are in the gym daily interacting and helping their clients. Neil has helped me immensely the last 3 months. He is motivating, dedicated and very knowledgeable about health and fitness. Neil is easy to relate to and truly cares about his client’s results. Neil helped me to refine my approach to my workouts and nutrition. He introduced me to different stretches and tailored my workouts to accommodate my lifelong hip and back issues. The nutrition component of this program was significant for me. This is something that I have always personally struggled with. I never knew the type of food that I should be eating or the amount of food that I needed to eat for my body weight. Neil educated me about proper nutrition and food intake and helped me figure out weekly, the amount of food that I should be eating to accomplish my weight loss goal. He also showed me how to track my meals properly to ensure that I stayed accountable with my eating habits so I could achieve my weekly goal.  I can honestly say that this tool was invaluable and something that I will use for years to come. My family has also benefited from me learning about proper nutrition as we are all enjoying prepping healthy meals that still taste great but, are way more nutritious.

Every aspect of my life has improved since I started the 12 week Transformation Challenge.  Physically, in my personal appearance I look better. I am fit, leaner, stronger and more confident. To date, I have lost over 20 pounds of body fat.  I have more energy now and I am not so tired all the time. This has allowed me to be a better husband and father as I now have the energy to accomplish more household tasks, and keep up to my two young children who are very energetic and active throughout the day.  I have always had life-long, chronic hip and back pain stemming from a childhood condition that resulted in me getting an extensive operation at the age of five years old. In the past few years, the pain has intensified. My doctors and I have tried numerous treatment methods such as massage, chiropractic treatment, pain medications and cortisone shots. It was looking like I would require surgery on my hip in the near future due to my chronic pain and movement limitations. Just to give you an idea, I could barely get out of bed in the mornings without limping and having chronic pain. My sleep was constantly interrupted due to tossing and turning all night to find the right sleeping position that would cause me the least amount of pain. I was always in pain at work, as I have a physically demanding job that requires me to constantly be on my feet, bending, twisting, lifting and working at various elevations in an industrial setting. Since beginning the Transformation Challenge, I am pleased to say that I am now sleeping pain-free throughout the night. I have no issues doing physically demanding tasks at work and I have minimal pain in my hip and back. Surgery is not an option for me right now; because, my overall flexibility and strength have significantly improved. Mentally, I am a much happier person. I have found something that drives me to get out of bed at 5:00 A.M. I look forward to working out daily at Trench Fitness and having a mental break before I start my busy day. Like many, I was constantly looking for something that would make me feel accomplished, confident and pain free – well this is it for me. I will continue to workout at Trench Fitness and I have registered for another 12 week training program as this is exactly the support I was looking for. With the support of Neil, I will continue to set fitness goals and push myself to new limits.
