“Well where do I start.. I went to Neil initially because I was looking to lose the “last ten pounds” that I’ve been wanting to lose for years. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but I knew that Neil loves and breathes fitness and that this was where I wanted to go.
So I met with Neil for the first time 3 months ago and he went over my nutrition plan and what I needed to do. He said I’d have to buy a food scale and start tracking everything I ate and I’d have to cut out alcohol. I suddenly started freakin out inside. I was newly dating someone and thought oh crap, how am I going to do this and weigh everything I eat.. not to mention that I bartend every weekend and am constantly surrounded by alcohol. BUT, I did sign up for this, this is what I wanted. I needed help to reach my goal…..
Fast forward 3 months to the present and WOW….. I never thought in a million years my body would start to look like this. Tracking my food just became second nature, and really intriguing actually because I was learning so much. I’ve gained so much knowledge about food, health, and nutrition and I don’t think I ever would have reached my goal if it wasn’t for Trench.
I’ll have this knowledge for the rest of my life and I’m so incredibly grateful. A huge thank you to Neil for helping me to reach my goal, for keeping me on track and for giving me heck when I went off course! He was always reminding me why I was doing this. Another big thank you to my trainer Joe Brooker for being so motivating and for pushing me and making me do that last squat, rep and sprint when I was whining that I can’t. Trench is such an awesome gym, it’s truly unlike any other. It’s not a gym where people are just leisurely walking on the treadmill. Literally everyone in that space is so pumped up and is having such a kick ass workout, I love it!!! No screwin’ around in there!!!! Haha. Thanks so much Team Trench!!”
